AI-20D Series 5M turboprop engine (complete unit and spares)

The AI-20D engine is the An-32 powerplant. Ivchenko-Progress (design) and Motor Sich (manufacture) are based in Zaporizhia, Ukraine — currently a conflict zone. Spare-parts supply has been severely disrupted since February 2022. The IAF's contingency arrangements include accelerated retirement of part of the fleet and accelerated C-295 / C-390 absorption. The dependency is the most geopolitically sensitive in the ecosystem.
