PW127G turboprop engine (complete unit)

The PW127G is the single-sourced engine on the C-295. Engine MRO and component manufacturing are concentrated with P&WC and its Canadian supply chain. Indian substitution would require either a new engine development (GTRE HTFE-25 derivative — not flight-worthy) or a partnership with P&WC for licensed manufacture (long cycle). Geopolitical sensitivity is moderate: Canada is a NATO ally with stable export-control behaviour, but is subject to MTCR and Wassenaar regimes.
