Engine FADEC / Electronic Engine Control (EEC) hardware and software

Engine FADEC and EEC hardware are concentrated with P&WC and Collins. DO-254 / DO-178C certification is a multi-year effort. The dependency is shared across all Indian transport platforms (PW127G on C-295, V2500-E5 on C-390, AE 2100D3 on C-130J, PT6A on Do-228 / HTT-40) and is therefore the single most critical strategic dependency in the ecosystem. ITAR/EAR exposure is significant.
