India Removes a Hidden Defence-Tech Bottleneck: Testing Access Gets Cheaper and More Predictable

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved a revised SOP for industry use of MoD proof ranges, field-firing ranges and laboratories. Proof and testing charges are waived for iDEX, TDF, Make and other developmental projects, a three-day proof-firing slot is reserved each quarter, and arbitration gives way to conciliation.
