Maval’s 366-hectare industrial estate could extend Pune’s defence-manufacturing cluster

Pune’s defence-industrial advantage has been constrained by the same factor affecting many established clusters: not a lack of engineering capability, but a lack of contiguous, specialised industrial space. Maharashtra has moved a proposed 366-hectare Maval estate into the land-preparation and approval process, with defence manufacturers and data centres given priority.
