INS Samarthak Enters Service: A Private-Yard Test and Evaluation Vessel for the Navy

The Navy commissioned INS Samarthak at Karwar on 16 October. Built by L&T and reported to carry about 75% indigenous equipment, it is meant to trial indigenous weapons, sensors and unmanned systems at sea.
