India Leases Two MQ-9B SeaGuardians to Close the Navy's Surveillance Gap

India has signed a roughly Rs 1,943 crore (about US$203 million) contract with General Atomics to lease two MQ-9B SeaGuardian HALE RPAS for the Indian Navy for 30 months - immediate maritime domain awareness over the Indian Ocean Region, ahead of the larger 31-drone purchase.
