India’s critical-minerals pipeline reaches 88 blocks, with 56 already auctioned

India’s mineral-security strategy is moving from identifying dependencies to putting acreage into the hands of explorers. The eighth auction tranche adds 20 more critical and strategic mineral blocks across nine states, while the Ministry of Mines says 56 of the 88 blocks offered so far have already been auctioned.
