High-Purity Gases and Chemicals Move onto India's Localisation Agenda

On SEMICON India's Day 2, Tata Electronics signed MoUs with INOX Air Products for high-purity semiconductor gases and with Sumitomo Chemical for wet chemicals and advanced materials. A fab needs more than 50 ultra-high-purity gases and hundreds of specialty chemicals, most still imported - the continuous-consumption layer that packaging and even silicon capacity do not fix.
