Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone Draws a Third Investors' Roundtable

The Department of Telecommunications held its third Investors' Roundtable in Bengaluru on 22 September 2026 for the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone - India's first integrated TMZ - with 24 companies now proposing Rs 5,500 crore and a further Rs 700-800 crore of interest recorded. The zone spans design, components, semiconductors, optical fibre and equipment; the structural test is whether it draws component and process plants, not only final-assembly lines.
